Jeffrey Gilbert

Chief Operating Officer and Chief Legal Officer

Mr. Gilbert is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Legal Officer of Carnelian Energy Capital Management, L.P., where he leads internal operations, including compliance, human resources, vendor selection, community relations and other strategic firm and legal matters, in addition to serving as a resource to Carnelian’s portfolio companies. Prior to joining Carnelian, Mr. Gilbert was an attorney in the Houston office of Bracewell LLP. Mr. Gilbert grew up in Houston, Texas, and received a Bachelor’s of Journalism with highest honors from The University of Texas at Austin and a J.D. with honors from The University of Texas School of Law.
