Justin Chen, CPA

Controller

Mr. Chen is the Controller at Carnelian Energy Capital Management, L.P., where he assists with Carnelian’s tax, accounting, finance and reporting functions. Prior to joining Carnelian, Mr. Chen was in the Partnership Tax Services practice at Grant Thornton Advisors, LLC, an international audit, tax and advisory firm, where he focused on tax compliance and consulting for private equity and investment management clients. Mr. Chen began his career in the Multistate Tax Services practice of Deloitte Tax, LLP. Mr. Chen grew up in Austin, Texas, and earned both a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master in Professional Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin.
