Mr. Kennedy is an Associate of Carnelian, where he focuses on transaction due diligence, analytics and execution and monitoring active portfolio companies. Prior to joining Carnelian, Mr. Kennedy was an Analyst in the Energy & Power Investment Banking Group at Piper Sandler & Co., where he gained experience working on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets financings and strategic advisory assignments for clients across the energy industry. Mr. Kennedy also previously served as an Analyst in the Energy Investment & Corporate Banking Group at KeyBanc Capital Markets. Mr. Kennedy grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas, and received a B.B.A. in Finance with a specialization in Alternative Asset Management and B.A. in History from Southern Methodist University in 2021.
